Supporting graduate employability from generalist disciplines through employer and private institution collaboration

Research was commissioned by the Australian Office for Learning and Teaching to determine what strategies increase higher education graduates’ employability. After over 700 surveys returned from 14 countries, the results revealed that students must do more than study and complete their courses in order to be employable upon graduation. Stakeholders agreed that work experience, internships and placements are the most significant set of strategies.
